Cleveland Honors Outstanding Leaders in the LGBT Community During the Annual LGBT Heritage Day Ceremony on October 9th

For more than 35 years, the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Community Center of Greater Cleveland has fostered change, acceptance and leadership within Norheast Ohio.  On October 9, 2012, in celebration of National LGBT month, the center will honor six Greater Clevelanders who have made a positive impact in the community at a ceremony in the Cleveland City Hall Rotunda.  Among the honorees is Cleveland Police Sergeant Deirdre Jones who supervises in the division’s Domestic Violence Unit.
