Night Out For Missing Persons

The City of Cleveland, Division of Police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority Police Department announce a “Night Out For Missing Persons”  Officers and agents from the Cleveland Division of Police, Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority Police Department will staff two mobile command vehicles. One on the east side of town and one on the west, and will use each post as a meeting point for citizens to come and provide any and all information they feel may be pertinent to missing persons investigations.  Citizens are encouraged to attend these events in order to strengthen the partnership between law enforcement and the community.

WHEN:      Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm

WHERE:   West Side: Seymour Avenue at Scranton Road

                     East Side: East 93 at Heath Avenue

Police Seek the Public’s Help in Identifying Kidnapping Suspect

The Cleveland Division of Police is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect and suspect vehicle seen in the attached photos. On Monday, February 18, 2013, at 11:55 p.m., a black male attempted to kidnap a female from the parking lot of 3778 W. 117th Street as she was getting into her vehicle. A good Samaritan observed the attempted kidnapping and scared off the suspect. The suspect then fled the scene in silver ford minivan.

The suspect is described as a black male 30s, facial hair, 6’ 200lbs., wearing a black hat, green quilted jacket and blue pants.

Anyone with information as to the identification or whereabouts of the suspect or suspect vehicle is asked to contact the Cleveland Division of Police at 216-623-5725.
