Police Seek the Public’s Help in Identifying Suspect Wanted in Connection With a Home Invasion

Victory Boulevard Home InvasionThe Cleveland Division of Police is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect and suspect vehicle seen in the attached photos. The male is wanted in connection with the Victory Boulevard home invasion, which occurred on Monday, June 17, 2013. On Monday, June 17, 2013, First District officers responded to the 3900 block of Victory Boulevard for an elderly male calling to report that his wife had been kidnapped. The male, age 82, reported that upon answering a knock on his door, three black males rushed in, assaulted him and his wife and threatened them with a gun. The male victim was then restrained via duct tape. The males then left with victim’s property and his 80 year old wife. The suspect’s vehicle was later found with the 80 year old female victim in the trunk. Both victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.

On Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at 1:48 p.m., the male attempted to use the victim’s stolen credit card at a gas station in the area of W. 117th & Bellaire. The male was seen getting out of the passenger side of a Nissan Versa and entering the gas station, where he attempted to use the stolen credit card.
Suspect is wearing a white T-shirt, red pants and black shoes.
