Felonious Assault Shooting / GTMV Recovery (quite a parking job)

Today at 1:18 p.m., Fourth District zone cars responded to the 3700 block of E. 69th Street for shots fired from a silver Buick Century. Once in the area zone car personnel located the suspect vehicle with one male occupant. At this time officers attempted to conduct a vehicle stop and the operator did not comply. The suspect vehicle fled from the officers and after a short pursuit the suspect lost control of the vehicle and rolled it over in the 5500 block of Mound Avenue. The suspect was taken into custody and placed under arrest without incident.

Further investigation revealed that the Buick Century was stolen from Garfield Heights.

The arrested male was conveyed to MetroHealth Medical Center to be evaluated and upon release he will be conveyed to the Division’s Central Prison Unit.

Arrested male: Travon Kilpatrick of Cleveland, black male 19 years of age

The investigation is being handled by the Fourth District Detective Bureau.
