The Division kicked off the second annual Cleveland Division of Police Wellness Challenge on Saturday, September 14, 2013. The challenge serves the goal of increasing overall health and wellness within the division by way of structured fitness, nutrition and disease management programs.
The challenge will take place over a six month period and is open to all sworn officers and civilian employees. Participants form teams and are allowed assistants for encouragement, guidance and support. The teams are tested on a bi-weekly basis and will be judged on combined pounds lost, BMI and completion of Cooper Institute Physical Fitness Goals.
