MISSING ADULT/ENDANGERED

Jose Gaecia

The Cleveland Division of Police is asking for the public’s help in locating a male missing from the west side of Cleveland.  Jose Garcia 60, was reported missing from 3896 W. 36th Street by his caregiver. Garcia does not speak English and is currently being treated for dementia. Further, he does not know the area and has never left the house on his own in the past. Jose Garcia is described as a Hispanic male 5’8”, 200 lbs., grey hair and brown eyes, wearing light colored pants, short sleeved white shirt with pink stripes and brown shoes.

Cleveland Police learned of Garcia’s missing status today at approximately 4:00 p.m., when his caregiver checked his room and he was not there. He was last seen today at 12:30 p.m., at  home watching television. Numerous checks with neighbors as well as area hospitals and shelters have failed to turn up any signs of Mr. Garcia.
