A pup in need of a home: a message from the Division of Animal Care and Control

Punkin

A Message from the Division of Animal Care and Control:

This is Punkin.  She is a 2 year old female pittie mix who is in need of a home.  Punkin was taken from the scene the night that Officer John Lyons was shot (thankfully in his ballistic vest!) and was housed at the city’s kennel.  She has since been placed with a foster family and is awaiting her forever family.

Punkin is spayed and is in good health.  She is described as having a ton of playful energy and did very well on her SAFER assessment.  She is very affectionate and loves to snuggle.

If you are interested in adopting Punkin, please email the volunteers at clevelandacvoulnteer@gmail.com or citydogs@city.cleveland.oh.us.

Remember, there are always animals available for adoption at the Division of Animal Care and Control.  Check them out!
