Aggravated Robbery/Felonious Assault/Shooting Suspect Sought

The Cleveland Division of Police Third District Detective Bureau is currently investigating an aggravated robbery/ felonious assault shooting incident which occurred on February 11, 2015 at approximately 5:40am at 2151 Ontario Street, which is a parking garage near the Horseshoe Casino.  Officers and detectives responded to a call for shots fired/a male shot.  Upon arrival, they located the 36 year old male victim with a gunshot wound to his hand.  The victim was treated on scene and then transported by Cleveland EMS to MetroHealth Medical center for further treatment.

Victim was initially uncooperative with investigators, reporting he did not know suspect and was gambling alone.

The preliminary information reveals that the victim came to the casino in the company of the suspect and two females.  The victim reported that he had met the suspect earlier at a strip club.  The victim reported that during the course of his time at the casino, he had won money and then exited the casino in company with the suspect.  The two entered the suspect’s Dodge Ram pickup truck at which point, the suspect pulled a silver semi-automatic handgun on the victim and said “Give me all you bread.”   The victim gave the money to the suspect and exited the vehicle.  The victim then heard two shots and received one gunshot wound to his right hand, index finger.  The suspect fled north on Ontario.  Victim reported amounts taken by suspect to be $2,600.00 or $4,600.00.
