MISSING TEEN: FAITH MACH, 13

The Cleveland Division of Police is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 13 year old female. Faith Mach is a white female who has been missing since August 18, 2016; she is 5’1 and 148lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.  Ms. Mach was reportedly last seen with an unknown male and stated she was going to Alabama.  Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Faith Mach is asked to contact first district detectives at 216-623-5118 or to call 216-621-1234.

City of Cleveland Hiring OPOTA Certified Officers: Lateral Transfer

The City of Cleveland is currently accepting applications for the position of Patrol Officer in the form of lateral transfer. Applicants must be certified by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy and have three years of full time paid experience as the equivalent of a Police Officer in the state of Ohio, full or part time.

Applicants must be a minimum of 21 years of age and not older than 39 upon appointment to the Cleveland Police Training Academy. Applicants must have high school diploma or equivalent, a valid State of Ohio Driver’s License, be a US Citizen and available to work on any shift on any day of the week.

Police Seek the Public’s Help in Solving Fatal Hit-Skip Case

The Cleveland Division of Police Accident Investigation Unit is currently investigating a fatal motor vehicle hit skip incident which occurred on August 18, 2016 at approximately 11:45pm. The preliminary investigation indicates that he victim, a 24 year old black male, exited a vehicle in the 6900 block of Kinsman Road and began walking into the street.  He was then struck by an unidentified vehicle which then left the scene.  There is no vehicle description or driver description at this time.  Investigators seek help from the public and anyone with information in this case is asked to contact the Accident Investigation Unit at 216-623-5290.  Anonymous information can be given to Crime Stoppers by calling 216-252-7463 or via text message: text TIP657 plus your message to Crimes (274637).
