Police Seek the Public’s Help in Identifying and Locating Victim & Suspect in Abduction Case

The Cleveland Division of Police Third District detective bureau is currently investigating an abduction which occurred on January 12, 2017 at approximately 9:45pm at 3608 Woodland Avenue.  A store clerk reported that a female entered the store and was crying, asking to use the phone.  While victim was on the phone, a male entered the store, grabbed her, picked her up and took her outside.
Video later obtained from the store shows the female arrive at the store in the suspect’s vehicle.  She exits the vehicle and walks into the store.  A short time later, the suspect enters the store, grabs her and carries her out, the male is then seen carrying the female to a vehicle and throwing her into the passenger side front seat.  The vehicle then leaves the lot.
The victim is described as a black female approximately 40 years old with black hair,  approximately 5’2″ and about 90 pounds.  She is seen wearing a black jacket and black furry boots.  The suspect is a black male, 6’2″ approximately 30 years old, with a beard.  He is seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and a red knit hat.   The suspect vehicle is a gold Chevy Trailblazer.
