Suspect Wanted for Grand Theft, Telecommunications Fraud
Woman Wanted for Internet Scams Involving Over 150 Victims, $200k
CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Division of Police and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are seeking the public’s help in locating Zienup Sbeih-Maddox, who is wanted for multiple counts of Grand Theft and Telecommunications Fraud. Zienup Sbeih-Maddox is a 23 year old black female. She is 5’3” tall, weighs 130 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
In the spring of 2017, victims began contacting the Cleveland Division of Police Financial Crimes Unit reporting that they had been scammed by the same woman. Sbeih-Maddox had created a Facebook page which she used to entice potential buyers with discounted baby and toddler items. Sbeih-Maddox mainly targeted new mothers and is believed to have scammed over 150 victims with a total loss of approximately $200,000.00.
Felony warrants for Grand Theft and Telecommunications Fraud have been issued for Zienup Sbeih-Maddox. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Cleveland Division of Police continue to investigate cases of interstate fraudulent activity as they are filed; victims have been located as far away as Hawaii.
